Team, do you remember how it felt living under a Donald Trump presidency? It was four years filled with fear and uncertainty, watching our fundamental rights stripped away.
Here is the reality we face if Trump wins a second term:
Trump says he “will be a dictator on day one,” and will weaponize the Justice Department and FBI to target his political enemies.
He will ban abortion nationwide. Trump has bragged about “killing” Roe v. Wade and says he is “looking at policies that would restrict birth control access.”
He will gut Social Security and Medicare. Trump and the GOP have already been scheming to cut benefits from nearly 70 million people who have earned them. If he returns to power, the door will be open for him to “cut entitlements.”
He has pledged to embrace violence done on his behalf. Trump has floated the idea that the nation’s top general deserves to be put to death and warns of a “bloodbath” if he loses the November election.
With just 71 days left until one of the most consequential elections of our lifetimes, so much is on the ballot – from reproductive rights and health care to voting and LGBTQ+ rights. We need every grassroots Democrat’s support in this critical moment, but we still haven’t heard from a very important supporter: YOU!
