I have to say, I’ve been thinking a lot about our democracy lately.

After the Jan. 6 insurrection, I was hopeful that the Republican Party would put country over party, denounce the Big Lie, and move past the MAGA chaos.

But that never happened. Here we are nearly four years after Donald Trump’s defeat, still talking about the last election, still countering dangerous conspiracy theories, and still with a MAGA-led GOP.
