Earlier today we sent you an email asking you to imagine how you'd feel watching the election results and seeing Kamala Harris win and Democrats control Congress.

Now imagine the opposite.

You're watching the results of the election and Donald Trump wins states like Pennsylvania and Michigan early.

It's over. He's coming back to the White House, and because of the bad results in those two states, he'll have the House and the Senate with him. Supreme Court justices will be his to nominate. Four more years.

There's one word for it: Pain.

We're sorry to put that thought in your head, but the good news is that it doesn't have to be that way. You just have to do your part.

Because if we can reach our fundraising goals, we can persuade the people we need to reach before they vote and turn out the ones we know will vote our way before Election Day.

If we do that, Democrats will win.
