Hey team,
Today, we celebrate Women’s Equality Day, a day to honor the incredible women
who have fought for equality and those who continue to champion this cause.
Over a century ago, our nation took a monumental step forward when women
secured the right to vote – a victory that was the result of decades of
tireless activism. It’s easy to forget that this essential right, which many of
us take for granted today, was hard-won by women who believed in a more perfect
Union. Let’s take a moment to reflect on their courage and dedication.
As we look to the future, it’s clear that the fight for equality is far from
over. We face challenges in reproductive rights, pay equity, and beyond. But we
should take heart in the progress we've made. Today, women are not just
participating in the conversation—they're leading it. I just returned from a
historic convention where we heard from countless remarkable women leading our
country - and we nominated an incredible woman to be our next President.
This progress would have been unimaginable without the determination of the
women who came before us, and it’s a powerful reminder of what we can achieve
together.
On this Women’s Equality Day, let’s celebrate how far we’ve come and commit to
continuing the work of those trailblazers. The future is bright, and together,
we will continue to make history.
