This is Alexandra, Electoral Coordinator for our chapter. I am thrilled to announce that based on the votes of our members, Memphis-Midsouth DSA has officially endorsed Noah Nordstrom for Tennessee House District 83!

As we approach the general election on November 5th, I hope you’ll join us in backing a candidate who aligns with our pro-people values.

Why Noah?

We understand Noah Nordstrom is a committed advocate on issues that matter to working people, our communities, and create more space for socialist organizing:

Invest in Public Schools: As a public school teacher, Noah knows the challenges in our education system. He advocates for investing in public schools to ensure every child receives a quality education and opposes school vouchers to protect equal opportunities for all.

Pro-worker Policies: Noah supports raising the minimum wage in Tennessee, ending "right-to-work" legislation, and adopting a state-wide workers’ bill of rights.

Ending the Genocide of Palestinians: Noah has committed to opposing anti-Palestinian legislation and has signed the We Do Politics "Pro Peace Pledge."

Protect Our Rights: Noah is committed to ending the extreme politics in the state legislature and standing against attacks on minority communities and political opponents. Among other things, he has committed to work to overturn Tennessee’s abortion ban.
