You know how I feel about tuna melts. I think they’re the perfect sandwich — and I’m not ashamed of how much mayo I use either. While I was at the Democratic National Convention last week, a reporter brought up the tuna melt video I made back when we were all stuck at home during the COVID lockdown…

And it got me thinking about when Kamala Harris showed me how she makes her tuna melt.

Sure, she added some ingredients I never considered and used a skillet instead of a microwave, but the point is, she understands how to take something from its simplest form and rebuild it into something better. Frankly, that’s her superpower. And I believe that’s what will make her a great president.

Sometimes it feels like it’s impossible to find a path forward for our country amidst all the chaos — especially when Donald Trump is the Republican nominee for president again and he continues to spout lies and push for lawlessness on the campaign trail. I understand that under the circumstances, it’s hard to picture a brighter future.

I’ve had the honor of working alongside Vice President Kamala Harris for years. Her experience, energy, and resolve to fight for what everyday Americans deserve is unmatched. She’s dealt with chaos before and she always finds a path forward. I’m confident that she will do the same thing now and take down Donald Trump in November.

But she can’t do it alone. She needs us to join her and stand united against the forces that want to bring madness and mayhem back to the White House.

So I’m asking: Will you split a donation today between me and Vice President Harris so we can come together for victory in November?
