This election could be a historic win in the movement toward gender equity. Together, we can elect a fierce and dedicated leader to represent us as our first-ever woman president.
Happy Women’s Equality Day, friend!
Today, let’s celebrate the progress we’ve made, acknowledge the work we still need to do, and strengthen our ongoing commitment to building a more equitable world for all.
This election could be a historic win in the movement toward gender equity. Together, we can elect a fierce and dedicated leader to represent us as our first-ever woman president.
Gender disparities in healthcare, economic opportunity, and the justice system hurt all of us, but disproportionately impact women of color, immigrants, and women with disabilities.
On the Board, we are actively working to increase opportunity, protect reproductive rights and healthcare access, and repair the harms created by systemic gender and race inequalities.
I am endlessly committed to tackling all disparities and building the equitable County that you voted for last November.
I’m proud to have a partner in Supervisor Lawson–Remer as we do this work. And I’m fired up that we have the opportunity to help organize folks to vote for the first woman president.
