TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING & REGULATION |
The Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation adopted amendments to an existing rule at 16 Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Chapter 75, §75.110, regarding the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractors program. The adopted rule updates the International Residential Code, International Mechanical Code, International Fuel Gas Code, and Uniform Mechanical Code editions that are effective in the state of Texas from the 2018 editions to the 2021 editions. The 2018 code editions will remain in effect only through August 31, 2024.
The adoption justification was published in the August 23, 2024, issue of the Texas Register (49 TexReg 6452). The updated rule chapter will be available in the Texas Administrative Code upon its effective date of September 1, 2024.
