As the presidential election approaches in November, state elections are more crucial than ever, especially in these times of Covid-19, where states, their governors, and their legislatures have taken the reigns of leadership. 
 

Why are we focusing on states in 2020?

-States legislators create laws that have a direct, immediate impact on residents. Just look at what's going on in Virginia! (In a good way!)

-Redistricting will be happening in the next few years, and this is our last chance in some states to get Democrats a seat at the table and prevent gerrymandering

-Sister District is also putting their resources into elections in presidential battleground states, which will create Democratic energy from the bottom of the ballot all the way to the top
