Johh, happy Women’s Equality Day!
It’s hard to believe that there was a time in this country when women had to fight for the rights we take for granted today. The right to be educated, own property, or even have a voice at the ballot box wasn’t inherently given — it had to be earned through relentless struggle and activism.
But the dark reality is that women are still battling to secure their rights to this day.
Women across our nation are deprived of their basic human right to reproductive healthcare. The devastating Dobbs v. Jackson decision has forced millions of women into impossible situations — traveling across state lines, facing punishment, or being outright denied the right to make their own healthcare choices. The fallout was swift and brutal, with 13 states wasting no time in banning abortion through trigger laws.
I know there’s overwhelming support for abortion across the nation, and we deserve leadership that reflects that. We need leaders like Kamala Harris — people who are not afraid to stand up against anti-choice extremists. With leaders like her in our corner, we can make sure every woman has the freedom to make their own choices.
I hope you join me in celebrating today by standing shoulder-to-shoulder with me and keeping politicians out of the doctor's offices. Your support, whether it’s $5 or whatever you can contribute, will help us secure a pro-choice House majority and a pro-choice White House >>>
