Friend,
Happy Monday! Welcome back to another edition of our weekly Kean for Congress
newsletter update!
Have you been keeping count? There are only 70 days until Election Day.
Since my last update, Tom has continued to make the most of the Congressional
Summer Recess. He has participated in business tours, met with constituents and
interest groups for meetings, honored our outstanding Eagle Scouts, and has
held Community Project Funding check ceremonies. More on some of this great
government work below.
In the field, Tom has joined our Field Team in hitting the pavement and
attending events and fairs across the district. Read our Field Report to see
where we have been and how you can help re-elect commonsense this November 5th.
Have you seen Tom at an event recently?
Are you ready to work hard to deliver Republican victories in November, and

✅ Kean Introduces Bill to Help Expand Access to IVF Treatments ✅
Even though Tom is back in NJ07 for the Summer Recess, his work in D.C. on
your behalf hasn't skipped a beat. On August 9th, Tom introduced theIVF for
Families Act, a bill to provide an income tax credit for the costs of certain
fertility treatment. A single IVF cycle can range from$15,000 to $30,000,
depending on the center and the patient’s individual medication needs.
Medications can account for up to 35% of those charges.
“Everyone knows a neighbor, colleague, or friend who has struggled when trying
to grow their family and benefited from IVF. I have heard firsthand from
constituents of the many emotional and financial struggles that they face
throughout this process. Making this remarkable technology more accessible can
and will change countless lives for the better. I will continue to support a
woman’s right to choose and am proud to introduce this bill to provide greater
support to those who need help growing their family.”
- Congressman Tom Kean, Jr.
🦅 Kean Hosts Annual Eagle Scout Award Event 🦅
Last Friday, Tom held his second annual Eagle Scout Award Event ceremony.
Scouts from New Jersey's 7th Congressional District who have achieved or will
achieve the rank of Eagle Scout between July 2023 and the end of 2024 were
invited to attend. Parents, Scoutmasters and other adult scout leaders from
across the district were also welcomed to join the celebration with their
Scouts. It is wonderful to see Tom honor the work of our Scouts.
I first met Tom in 2014, then the State Senator from District 21, when he
attended and spoke at my Eagle Scout Court of Honor. Tom spoke about how 3 of
every 4 leaders in business, politics, or religion were involved in Scouting at
some point in their life, and how scouting provides a strong foundation for
service to community and country. It was great to see Tom continuing his
tradition of honoring Scouting's very best.
“I am incredibly impressed by the talent and dedication of the Eagle Scouts in
our district. Earning the title of Eagle Scout is no easy feat, and these young
adults have every reason to be proud of their achievement. They are natural
leaders with bright futures ahead of them. Congratulations to all the Eagle
Scouts!”
- Congressman Tom Kean, Jr.

🚨 Endorsement Alerts 🚨
Since my last update, Tom announced a HUGE endorsement (flip from our 2022
opponent). Kean for Congress is now endorsed by: theNew Jersey Firefighters'
Mutual Benevolent Association! FMBA President Ed Donnelly cited Tom's record as
a state legislator and congressman as being helpful to his more than 6,000
union members. He mentioned Kean standing in the Oval Office last month when
President Joe Biden signed his bill, the Fire Act, which directs federal funds
to local fire departments. See what they said:
“Tom Kean, Jr. has shown that when it comes to bringing resources back to New
Jersey, especially for first responders, he gets it done.”
- Ed Donnelly, NJ FMBA President
"I am honored to receive the endorsement of New Jersey's Firefighters Mutual
Benevolent Association. Every day, across our state, their dedicated
members—firefighters, EMTs, and dispatchers—bravely answer the call of duty to
protect our communities. In Congress, I have championed legislation that
ensures enhanced resources for firefighter training, streamlines recruitment
and retention, upgrades vital equipment, and strengthens emergency response
capabilities. As a former volunteer firefighter, I recognize these are
essential needs for our first responders to perform at their very best and to
stay safe on the front lines. I will continue to fight for these priorities in
Congress."

Tom Kean Jr. is the proud husband to Rhonda, and the proud father to two
daughters. Their family resides in the wonderful town of Westfield, New Jersey.
Tom’s dedication and commitment to public service was inspired at a young age
by his grandfather who served in the U.S. House of Representatives, and his
father who served as Governor of New Jersey.
Throughout Tom’s life, he has followed in their footsteps while setting forth
his own path of public service—now serving as a first-termCongressman for New
Jersey’s 7th District.
Kean's mission is simple:
For New Jersey.
For America.
For All Of Us.
Last cycle, NJ-07 was one of the KEY districts responsible for flipping the
House from Democrat Rule. This November, you can bet the Radical Left will be
gunning for Kean in their efforts to take back Congress.Would you please
consider chipping in today ($5, $10, $15, or any amount you can spare) to help
Tom counter the attacks that WILL be headed his way?
