A-ROOOOOH — that's husky for "hi, friend!"

Kali here, wishing you a very happy National Dog Day on behalf of all the Mucarsel-Powells!

Now that mom is Florida's official Democratic nominee for Senate, she's been zooming across the state to build grassroots pupport before the general election.

Sadly, I've had to sit (and stay) around at home all day, anxiously awaiting her return to celebrate with my well-earned walk and belly rubs. All this time at home has meant a lot of TV watching between naps — and let me tell you, Rick Scott's stinky face is impawsible to escape on the Florida airwaves. 

Will you pleeeease treat my mom with a gift of $5 now to help her get more ads on screen and send Scott running from the Senate with his tail between his legs?

I might not know much about things like "the economy" or "taxes," but I do have an excellent sense of smell. 

That's why it's so easy to sniff out howl desperate he is to bury his barking-mad pawlicies. From blocking the IVF protections he promised to vote for to drooling after cuts of crucial bone-efits relied on by seniors like my grandma, they are sure to leave Florida's humans stuck in the mud.

But mom refuses to roll over and give up the fight, and Rick Scott is clearly terrier-fied of her campaign. So it's no wonder why he's pouring MILLIONS into ads to obfurscate the truth and drown out her people-and-puppy-powered message.

That's why I've set a furgent $100,000 National Dog Day goal to power mom ahead in the tug-of-war for Florida's seat. Mom paw-viously has what it takes to win, but she'll only come out top dog by having all paws on deck for the 2.5 pup years (71 human days) left until the election.

But since I don't have a job, let alone a mastiff fortune like her opponent, I have no choice but to beg with my irresistibly big blue puppy dog eyes for your help:

So 🥺 PRETTY, PRETTY PLEEEEASE 🥺, friend, before the sun sets on my special day, will you throw my mom a bone and give $5, $25, or anything to help her chase Rick Scott out of the Senate?

(And full disclosure — if we surprise mom by reaching the goal before she gets home tonight, there might be a few extra belly rubs in store for me!)
