Born to Be Wild, Not Born to Dance—Help Rescue 30 Macaques From Abuse
Long-tailed macaques, highly intelligent and sociable, are the most traded and exploited primates in Indonesia, now endangered due to habitat loss and exploitation for medical science or street entertainment. Our partners, Jakarta Animal Aid Network (JAAN) and local authorities have made significant progress in ending their exploitation over the past 15 years, but the fight continues.

We urgently need your help to rescue 30 macaques from the ‘dancing monkey’ trade by making a monthly gift. Your support will aid JAAN and local partners in their rescue efforts next month and provide future veterinary care during the macaques’ rehabilitation. Monthly gifts are also crucial for the well-being of all our programs and enable World Animal Protection to assist in other animal rescues worldwide: [link removed]*ojfywz*_gcl_au*MTMxNjU5OTMxMS4xNzE3NDIwMjk5*_ga*MTIxODc3NTMxOC4xNzA5NTc5MTg1*_ga_GQNRETG901*MTcyNDA3OTU4OS4yNjMuMC4xNzI0MDc5NTg5LjYwLjAuMTIwNjM2ODI4&_ga=2.239720129.353380577.1724075848-1218775318.1709579185
