Dear Friend,
I joined Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in 2006 after a two-decades-long career as a journalist. Since then, I’ve watched MSF respond to multiple emergencies—from the earthquakes in Syria and Türkiye, to escalating and ongoing violence in Sudan, Haiti, and Palestine.
I am continually humbled and honored to lead an organization that can, at a moment's notice, mobilize to treat patients in emergencies. This includes the crises that dominate headlines and the ones that don’t.
World Humanitarian Day is a chance for all of us to celebrate people who are firmly and irrevocably committed to helping others—including you.
Will you join MSF in celebrating World Humanitarian Day by making a gift to ensure we can keep responding to emergencies around the world? |
