Join Us for a Special Event Dear Friends, Promises Made. Promises Kept. We all know property taxes in Texas are too high. You voted for me because I promised to do my best to run a fiscally conservative County. Under my leadership, we are cutting spending and cleaning up waste in all areas of the Tarrant County Government. Last week, we passed tax rate ceilings for both the County and Hospital District at $0.1875. Both rates, for the 2nd year in a row, are BELOW NO NEW REVENUE. In other words, actual tax cuts, not just rate cuts. You may also remember Texas law allows up to a 20% Homestead Exemption for County and Hospital District property taxes. Last year, we adopted 10% for both entities. Earlier this summer, we adopted the additional 10%, bringing our Homestead Exemptions to the maximum 20% allowed by Texas law. Our lower tax rates, coupled with the Homestead Exemptions, will again provide Tarrant County taxpayers with significant property tax relief. We are ushering in these tax-relief measures while also increasing pay for law enforcement and continuing to strengthen Tarrant County’s commitment to law and order. Please know you can count on me to work every day to make Tarrant County a safe, vibrant, and fiscally responsible place for you to live, work, and raise your family. It's going to take all of us to bring more Conservative wins to Tarrant County in November. You can help me get out the message about our tax relief efforts, which will bring more voters to our side, by donating today! Help me spread the word by donating to my campaign at the link below.
