My team’s been reaching out quite a bit lately, as I’m sure you’ve noticed. But I hope you recognize that we’re not doing it to annoy the crap out of you, or to stress you out.

We’re doing it because you are one of the most important parts of this campaign.

Here’s the truth: Almost every single dollar we raise comes from a donation of $100 or less. Our average donation is around $32. We get some big donations, and they’re certainly appreciated. But the most important people to this campaign aren’t just the folks writing those big checks.

They’re people like you. People who were there when everything was on the line.

More than 300,000 people have made a donation to this campaign. It’s absolutely humbling, and I can’t begin to thank this team — and you — enough for it.

But we’ve got more to do if we’re going to win this thing.
