Hi John -- I wanted to keep you in the loop about Mary Gay’s re-election campaign. I just finished reviewing our April fundraising budget, and right now, we’re still a little more than $4,750 short of where we need to be this month.
As you know, Mary Gay’s commitment to serving families in southeast Pennsylvania goes unmatched. She’s focused on making sure our healthcare workers have the protective gear they need, led the congressional effort to turn Glen Mills into a Federal Medical Station, and secured a $630 million contract for the Philadelphia Shipyard -- an effort that will bring 1,200 jobs back to southeast PA when our families need them most.
All the while, Mary Gay has been staying connected to her constituents by hosting online and over the phone town halls.
Mary Gay is exactly the kind of leader we need serving in Congress after the 2020 election, but we can’t go toe-to-toe with the national Republicans and far-right groups that will dump heaps of dark money dollars into Pennsylvania’s Fifth District.
We’ve got to do everything we can to close the gap on this month’s goal before tomorrow at midnight. We need all hands on deck to keep this seat blue, and today, I’m asking you to join us in this effort to protect the progress Mary Gay has made.
