Dear Friends and Supporters,

I can’t tell you how excited I am to share with you three big pieces of news that happened as a result of our team’s incredible work: Gallup just posted that only 43% of Americans now view marijuana favorably—down TEN points from just 2022! We also ensured legalization STAYED OUT of the Democratic Party Platform….AND we got a major company (if you drive, you probably know them!) to kick out a pot advertiser.

FIRST the news from the latest Gallup Poll is incredible. More than half of American adults now recognize the harmful effects of marijuana. It’s NOWHERE near where it should be—but it’s progress. Notably, it revealed a 7% drop among young adults, a 9% drop among Democrats, and a 13% drop among nonreligious people.

Additionally, SAM has continued to see a track record of fighting and winning against the marijuana industry. Just this month, we were able to influence both major political parties to keep marijuana legalization out of their party platforms, most notably the Democratic Party Platform. We also led a successful campaign to convince ParkMobile, one of the nation’s largest parking apps, to end their relationship with Five CBD, a company that markets and sells THC-infused products. As we continue to prove the harmful effects of marijuana, more and more businesses and individuals will shut the door on their associations with marijuana, its advocates, and their entire addiction-for-profit machine.

Our fight is far from over. As you well know, we're independent, and receive no funding from any fat cat industries. We rely on your help. To contribute, please click here to donate or visit our website at www.learnaboutsam.org.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment to this crucial cause. I can’t tell you how grateful we are to you.
