The National Republican Campaign Committee, whose main role is to elect as
many Republicans in as many congressional districts as possible, announced
$45.7 million in ad spending this fall.

They will direct over $6 million of that into the California congressional
districts they need to keep their razor-thin House majority. MAGA Speaker
Mike Johnson is returning to California to campaign this month.

Meanwhile, my Republican opponent Steve Garvey outraised our campaign by
$1.2 million in the latest FEC report, and the pro-Trump super PAC MAGA
Inc. just launched a $100 million advertising blitz across seven
battleground states — matching the $100 million Senate Republicans have
already poured into four states key to the Senate majority.

This fall, if we haven’t closed our fundraising gap with Steve Garvey
while MAGA megadonors blanket the airwaves in attack ads smearing
Democrats, it could jeopardize control of the House and Senate with the
majorities hanging in the balance.

So we really need to make up ground — today.
