Tell the EPA:
Ban Bee-Killing Pesticides!
TAKE ACTION

Dear friend,
You won’t believe this.
When EWG compiled the Dirty Dozen™ this year, we discovered that 84% of raisin samples tested had residues of neonicotinoids. These are the bee-killing pesticides that new research suggests may harm kids’ developing nervous systems and brains.
This is outrageous! American children under the age of 15 eat a total of about 208 million pounds of raisins each year. Shouldn’t the government be doing more to protect us from these toxic pesticides?
The CDC has already found the bee-killing pesticide in 50% of 3- to 5-year-old kids and 30% of adults. These results show that exposure to neonicotinoids is far more widespread — and at much higher concentrations — than previously thought.
We have a chance to force the government to take action and protect us from these toxic pesticides. The EPA is asking to hear from the public on neonics, but we only have until May 4. We need to overwhelm the agency with 50,000 comments if we’re going to win this fight!

The Trump EPA is asking to hear from you, but this agency has consistently put chemical industry profits ahead of human health. We’re going to need at least 50,000 comments to get the EPA’s attention.
Just take a look at its track record. The EPA:
* Recently declared glyphosate safe, claiming it poses “no risk of concerns to human health,” ignoring growing scientific evidence that links glyphosate to cancer in humans.
* Cancelled a scheduled ban of chlorpyrifos, a neurotoxic pesticide that can cause brain damage in kids. This chemical is so dangerous, its chief manufacturer recently announced plans to end its sale in the U.S.
* Repealed drinking water protections for waterways that are the source of tap water for more than 117 million Americans.
We can’t allow the Trump administration to continuing promoting pesticide industry profits at the expense of our health and our environment. It’s time to fight back, but we only have until May 4 to make our voices heard.
Stand with EWG and tell the EPA to protect our health and our environment. It’s time to ban bee-killing pesticides!
