Seriously, he talks about this fictional character every chance he gets: 

"Has anyone seen The Silence of the Lambs? The late, great Hannibal Lecter.” - Donald Trump, July 19 in Wisconsin at his RNC acceptance speech “The late great Hannibal Lecter. They say why would he mention Hannibal Lecter, he must be cognitively in trouble. No. These are real stories.” - Donald Trump, July 24 in North Carolina “You know, they go crazy when I mention Dr. Hannibal Lecter. You know who that was. He was a slightly troubled patient in an insane asylum.” - Donald Trump, July 27 in Minnesota

It’s all just very, very strange…

Instead of focusing on issues that impact everyday Americans, Trump is just going on hours-long monologues – about nothing. 

But don’t let this weird behavior distract you from how truly dangerous Donald Trump is. 

This is the same guy who incited an insurrection, called for the “termination” of parts of the Constitution, and even promised to be a ‘dictator on day one.’
