Hope this email finds you all well. I wanted to forward a couple of webinar events taking place this week. The first is a webinar training and educational event being hosted by Pioneer Valley Workers Center today April 29th from 6-8 PM EST. This is part of a bi-weekly worker assembly they have been running, and this week's event will feature an organizing training by two term president of the Massachusetts Teachers Association, Barbara Madaloni, and a May Day history lesson by Toni Gilpin, labor historian, activist and author of The Long Deep Grudge: A Story of Big Capital, Radical Labor, and Class War in the American Heartland.

The second event from the email I am forwarding, is the first in a three part DSA Organizing School focusing on political analysis and organizing skills, hosted by our national organization on April 30th 8 PM EST. Greetings fellow DSA member,

Thank you for attending last Thursday’s Welcoming New Members During Social Distancing training! Hopefully the tools and examples shared by our presenters from chapters across the country will support your chapter's local efforts in onboarding new members during this time of pandemic and social distancing.

The Membership Recruitment Log spreadsheet can be copied and adjusted to your local chapter's specific needs around identifying and reaching out to new members. If you have more questions about how to get started, or want to talk through your plans, please reach out to your Field Organizer.

Next Thursday, April 30, at 8pm ET / 5pm PST: Part 1 of a 3 part DSA Organizing School: The training series will cover political analysis and organizing skills to build on the working-class movement that fueled Bernie Sanders historic run for the presidency and will be especially useful for Bernie supporters who want to get more integrated into DSA.
