Under President Biden and Vice President Harris, the Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice have taken unprecedented action to stop existing monopolies and block the creation of new ones.
But because they’re taking on such powerful corporations, Biden-Harris administration officials like FTC Chair Lina Khan and Assistant Attorney General Jonathan Kanter are under enormous pressure from special interest groups to back down.

The Biden-Harris administration has achieved so much in the realm of antitrust law. But their biggest victory yet came earlier this month, when a judge ruled that Google holds an illegal monopoly over internet searches and ads in United States v. Google.
Rob is proud to have been a part of the DOJ’s lawsuit against Google — and he remains committed to enforcing antitrust laws here in California. But he can only get it done if our state has powerful allies in D.C. who aren’t afraid to take on special interests and corporate greed.
