  Can I tell you something you might not know about me, John? While serving as the president of Nevada's largest synagogue, I was recruited to run in a competitive House race and flip a red seat blue. Looking back, it's incredibly fitting that this is how I got into public service – because my Judaism is at the very core of my work in the Senate today.
