Project 2025 wants to erase LGBTQIA+ families and strip away their civil rights. Project 2025 spews false claims that children raised by LGBTQIA+ parents have worse outcomes than children raised by married, heterosexual parents. Project 2025 states that “[married] men and women are the ideal, natural family structure” – their rhetoric and policy proposals are blatantly homophobic and transphobic.

There’s nothing “natural” or “ideal” about oppression, no matter how many times they repeat their false claims.

In 2012, Women Winning partnered with Minnesotans United for All Families to defeat a hateful constitutional amendment that would have defined marriage as solely between a man and a woman.
We’ve fought for LGBTQIA+ rights before, and we’ve continued to fight for them. We’re proud of our barrier breaking, LGBTQIA+ endorsed candidates and their important legislative work to make Minnesota a refuge for ALL families.
