This was an exciting, energizing, joyful week for our party. And I’m not going to rain on that parade. We should feel joyful. We have an incredible opportunity this November to deliver on a brighter future for our nation, and that opportunity is worth celebrating.

But we also know this election is going to be close and extremely hard-fought, and that we’ll have to outwork the other side every step of the way.

That’s why I’m reaching out today — because over the last week, the GOP has made big moves here in Oregon, and it’s absolutely critical that we respond. Let me catch you up:

First, a poll came out showing me only two points ahead of my MAGA opponent.

Then, the NRCC doubled down on targeting me and unleashed a slew of false attacks.

Worst of all, my opponent went live with a TV ad buy Thursday night. And we don’t yet have the resources to match him with ads of our own.

In a statistically tied race, one candidate having the airwaves to themselves can decide the outcome. And the GOP knows, as well as we do, that this district has a high chance of determining which party wins a majority in the House.

I’m still optimistic and energized to win this race and flip the House blue — but I also know that it’ll take real work, and I can’t do it without you. Will you pitch in today and help us respond to the barrage of attacks we’re facing from our MAGA opponent and his super PAC allies?
