Friend,
We are so close to the end of the
signature collection for ballot access in most states. The final
states are Rhode Island and Kentucky, with deadlines of September
6th.
Volunteers, staff, and paid
petitioners have done a phenomenal job, and despite the challenges, we
have pushed on so that people in a majority of states will have an
anti-genocide, pro-worker, climate emergency ticket to vote for in
November. And their hard work is paying off! Jill
and Butch have been certified for ballot access in 3 more states in
the last few days, with more to be announced this
week.
But we are still short of the funds
we need to raise to pay the bills for these efforts and to wrap up
ballot access in Rhode Island and Kentucky.
The
good news is that if everyone who gets this email donates at least
$2.40, we will raise enough money to pay our ballot access bills. This
could be our final ask to pitch in for ballot access, but we
do need every single person to donate what they can for it to
work.
