USO Boosts Morale at Camp Grayling
After nearly a year of construction, the USO reopened at Camp Grayling earlier this summer with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration coinciding with the camp’s 15-day Michigan Army National Guard Annual Training.

The most eager and hardworking among the volunteers at this exciting event were several therapy and comfort dogs from our USO Canine Program. Learn more about our USO Canine Program and the role dogs can play to help address the mental, emotional and physical needs of our military community. »

USO Entertainment Tour Brings Inspiration to Alaska
Olympians Red Gerard and Hailey Langland joined Paralympic champion and Navy SEAL veteran Dan Cnossen for a USO tour to remote military installations in Alaska. Highlights included lunch at Fort Greely, a tour at Eielson Air Force Base where Dan explored an F-16, helicopter tours and a yoga session at Fort Wainwright. The tour was an inspiring and uplifting experience for the military community in Alaska, and the Olympians were deeply moved by their resilience.

Soldiers Enjoy Exclusive USO Event With Wilmer Valderrama in Warsaw
The U.S. Army V Corps were special guests at an exclusive event organized by the USO in Warsaw, Poland, in mid-June.

The soldiers attended a dinner at the U.S. ambassador’s residence and had the opportunity to meet actor Wilmer Valderrama, a USO Global Ambassador, who has worked with us to entertain military audiences for almost 20 years.

Carolina Panthers Meet Military Children at USO Grafenwoehr
The USO recently hosted a unique event with the Carolina Panthers at USO Grafenwoehr in Germany. Players, cheerleaders and Panther mascot Sir Purr led a flag football and cheerleading clinic for more than 100 military children at the Vilseck High School football field. The Carolina Panthers players also participated in a Meet and Greet for the children.
