Our continued success means even more hope for the future of our planet.

Hear me out.

I know that when we think about climate change, we mostly think about the dangerous path ahead.

Climate scientists have made it clear that we need to cut off dirty fossil fuels A-S-A-P or risk an unlivable future for our planet. Our communities are already facing the devastating effects of extreme weather, superstorms, and environmental injustice.

But some of you may already know my motto: “Don’t agonize, organize.” And the last few years have given us so many reasons to find hope in our movement for urgent climate action and a Green New Deal.

Just this week we celebrated two years since we passed the most consequential climate legislation in our nation’s history, the Inflation Reduction Act — billions invested in clean energy, new environmental protections, and union job creation that will support young people and working families.

We would have never passed those Green New Deal priorities without the tireless efforts of the folks in this movement. That includes those who have chipped in what they could, when they could, to build our capacity to fight for progress.

And now, with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz — two climate champions — at the top of our ticket, we have an opportunity to once again take the majority and organize to pass even more crucial legislation.

That’s why I’m asking: Make a donation to my campaign today and invest in this movement. Our continued success means even more hope for the future of our planet.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

With one week to go until our August deadline, I’m counting on your support today.

In solidarity,

Ed Markey
