Just last week, Speaker Johnson held his annual retreat in Wyoming with his big-money donors. He invited candidates in all the top GOP races to attend, and guess who was there: Matt’s opponent, Rob Bresnahan.

It’s no surprise Speaker Johnson had Rob come out to shake hands with millionaires and billionaires – they’ll do anything if it means they can replace Matt with an extremist who will help them continue their reign of chaos. But we can’t take this news lightly.

Outside money is already flooding into the district, and we absolutely can expect more to come. But no matter what the GOP does, all we can control is how we respond in critical moments like this.
