Hello John,
One of the most frustrating aspects of Bidenomics is that it forces Americans
into a painful dilemma:choosing between basic needs.
This is the Torchlight: our weekly newsletter keeping you up-to-date with how
we reignite the American Dream together.
As inflation continues to climb and wages struggle to keep up, families are
finding it harder to make ends meet. Essential expenses like groceries,
housing, and energy have skyrocketed, leaving many Americans with the agonizing
choice of what to prioritize.
This is the unfortunate reality under Bidenomics, where the cost of everyday
life has increased so dramatically thatsimply maintaining the same standard of
living now requires an extra $11,400 per year.
This is unacceptable
It's clear that this economic path is unsustainable, and it's time for a
change. As a grassroots organization, we meet COUNTLESS Americans who are
struggling. Here’s what they’re saying.
Empowering Americans to transform their communities
Our team in Louisiana is working to empower families to use their newly passed
education savings account (ESA). These accounts allow families to access funds
that they can use for their kid’s education. Parents know best what their kids
need to thrive, and ESAs empower them to go out and find those educational
resources.
On that note, getting the legislation passed for ESAs is just the first step.
Our activists are working to connect families with this new resource. Well done

Kent Strang, AFP’s Managing Director, recently shared how he paid far too much
for a small grocery haul.

Take Action
Oppose Washington's Reckless Spending
Can you relate? Are you forgoing basic necessities so you can make ends meet?
Maybe you’re eating ramen noodles so you can pay rent this month.
We must hold accountable the lawmakers who supported misleading bills like the
so-called Inflation Reduction Act, which only made our economy worse!
As a grassroots activist organization, we want to empower those in America who
feel like they have no voice. Can you please take a moment to send a letter to
your lawmakers?
