Apathy to Action -- Monday at 8pm ET/5pm PT

Indivisibles,

We’re back with part two of our relaunched Powering Progress Education Series.

Register for Apathy to Action -- Understanding the Threats Our Democracy Faces on Monday, August 26 at 8pm ET/5pm PT.

Powering Progress Education Series

What does it mean for democracy to be under attack? Are our fears of a descent toward authoritarianism rational? Is the scapegoating of vulnerable communities a sign of things to come? We’ll be partnering with the Protect Democracy Project to talk about what these ideas mean in an American context and walk through the forecasted implications of what we’re seeing on a daily basis. We cannot protect democracy if we don’t understand the mechanisms of how it’s being attacked.

We’ll follow that up by exploring what it means to prepare ourselves, be vigilant for one another, and safeguard our rights -- and our democracy -- moving forward.

This is the second installment of our four-part Apathy to Action series. Check out our call series guide to keep up to date on future sessions, and watch the recording of the first session if you missed it. We’ll make sure to keep you up to date on the next session, but join us on Monday at 8pm ET/5pm PT to learn more about the mechanisms of the threats to our democracy and how we overcome them.
