Donald Trump is trying to pull a fast one on the American people, and we can't let him get away with it.
Project 2025 –- a radical 922-page blueprint to remake our government –- has deep ties to Trump and his allies. But Trump claims he "knows nothing" about it. This is a blatant lie, and we need ABC News to call him out on it at the next Republican debate.
The evidence of Trump's connection to Project 2025 is overwhelming. Russ Vought, a Project 2025 author, and former Trump budget director, was recorded saying Trump is "very supportive of what we do". At least 140 former Trump administration officials are involved with the project.
We can't let Trump distance himself from this dangerous plan while surrounding himself with its architects. The American people deserve answers!

Project 2025 is a roadmap for dismantling our democracy. It calls for gutting federal agencies, consolidating unprecedented power in the hands of the president, and using the Department of Justice to target political opponents.
Sound familiar? It should –- because it's exactly what Trump tried to do in his first term. He slashed environmental protections, fired government watchdogs, and even tried to use the DOJ to investigate his political rivals. Project 2025 is Trump's playbook on steroids.
Trump can’t get away with disavowing Project 2025 without rejecting its extremist supporters, and all voters deserve to hear about the plan before they cast their ballots.
That's why we need ABC News to ask the tough questions and hold Trump accountable. But they won't do it unless we demand it.
