What a week it has been in Chicago supporting the Democrats and rallying around the Harris-Walz ticket! All week, I met with my fellow Democrats and listened to members of our party pave the way for the next four years. On top of that, we officially nominated Kamala Harris for President of the United States!

Unlike my GOP colleagues who used their convention to spout hate and sow division amongst Americans, the Democratic National Convention was an event filled with hope for our future and hope for unity. We heard from lawmakers, union leaders, and other prominent members of our party as they energized the crowd for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz while laying the groundwork for the next four years—which we have promised you will be four years of compassionate leadership and progressive policy.

As Michelle Obama stated during her speech, “hope is making a comeback!” The energy around Harris-Walz is contagious and the joy everyone is feeling is turning the tide of this election. With two and a half months until Election Day, let’s use that new sense of hope and turn it into voting power. We can’t afford to slow down now.

I’m fired up after this week and I’m ready to go all in for Harris-Walz and elect Democrats up and down the ballot. With Kamala officially accepting the nomination for president, it is time to all band together to make sure she makes it to the White House. Will you chip in today so we can secure a Democratic Majority and send our inspiring ticket—Kamala Harris and Tim Walz—to the White House?

After this week I feel a renewed sense of hope. I am energized to knock on doors and raise money for Democrats across the country so we can finally return sanity to Washington.
