In the Army, that meant being the kind of leader who jumps out of the plane first and eats last in the field. It also means that every day I'm in Congress, the urgent needs of you and your family are always top of mind.

I decided to run for office because the leadership I saw in D.C. was painfully out of step with everything I learned about leadership in the Army. I hope I've made you proud so far, friend, and that I will continue to make you proud in 2020 and beyond.
