Auburn's FY25 Real Estate Tax & Personal Property Tax bills should start showing up in mailboxes any day now. Thanks for your patience as we encountered some delays in printing & mailing.

The bills are also available on our website. Click HERE to download your tax bill, or call Auburn Hall at 333-6601/email [email protected] and our team can help. The first payment for Real Estate Tax bills is due 9/16/2024.

We really hate to say this in August, but we are on the hunt for the perfect Christmas tree! Yes, the City of Auburn is looking for a beautiful, local tree to use in Festival Plaza this holiday season.

The ideal tree will be located in Auburn; an evergreen - spruce or fir; at least 25 feet tall; and relatively “accessible” (no close power lines or other obstructions). The “winning” tree will be removed and transported by the Auburn Public Works Department at no cost to the property owner.

Once in place, our team will decorate the tree with care. It will be the centerpiece of the city’s annual tree lighting ceremony and will stand proudly during the holiday season in downtown Auburn.

Want to see if your tree can “make the cut?” Residents and property owners who wish to donate a tree and help bring holiday cheer to our city are encouraged to submit their tree for consideration. The nomination form can be found HERE.

COMP PLAN COMMITTEE

The Auburn City Council recently created a short-term Comprehensive Plan Committee. To stand this committee up, we are seeking up to 10 Auburn residents, including at least one resident from each voting ward.

A Comp Plan Committee is a group of volunteers who help guide the long-term plan for our municipality. This 10-year plan helps shape our community's future goals and actions, and serves as a guide for future growth and development. It covers a range of topics, including land use, zoning, transportation, recreation, housing, and economic development, to name a few.
