John, I can’t believe how quickly this week has flown by!
It was a joy and an honor to host the Democratic National Convention right here in Chicago. It was great having so many enthusiastic volunteers, delegates, and supporters show up and show out for the Democratic party and our amazing slate of candidates.
It’s been nothing short of electrifying. Standing in the United Center, I have never felt more excited about our future.
Let me quickly recap my last day at the DNC for you.

I started off the day by speaking at an Operation Swing State event at Petterino’s, where I got my caricature done for their wall! I join some big names in the theater world. If you ever stop by, try to spot me!
I then ran around the rest of the day doing multiple press interviews. In the midst of the chaos, I ran into Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton, and I managed to get a quick shot with her.
I even got to meet Aquilino Gonell, a retired Capitol Police Officer, who recounted the violence during the Jan. 6 riot. I thanked him for his service and his bravery.
We ended the night with Vice President Harris’s acceptance speech, and… wow. Her vision for America’s path forward is inspiring and gives me hope. Seeing the little girls in the audience staring up at her is a moment I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
As we come off the tails of this crazy week, can I count on you to chip in $10 to show our opponents that we aren’t messing around? We are all in for Kamala, and we need to keep this momentum going from now until Election Day. [[link removed]]
Thanks for following me along at the DNC! Onwards!
Jan
P.S. The rumors were just rumors. We didn’t get a Beyonce appearance, but I’m still holding out hope! Maybe at the inauguration?
