Dear Neighbor,

It’s been a busy month in Southern California! I’m reaching out to share a bit of what I have been up to these past few weeks.
 
State of the Nation
Earlier this month, I had the chance to join local chambers of commerce, city officials, small business owners, and community leaders at our annual State of the Nation.  

As your representative, an open line of dialogue between my office and our community is essential and I deeply appreciate this event each year for making that possible.

It was great to talk to you about the issues we face locally and what we can do to address them both here at home and in Washington.

19th Annual Senior Fair
I also had the pleasure of hosting my 19th annual Senior Fair this past Friday.

A big thank you to the over 1,000 seniors and 42 vendors who joined me this year and helped make it a great event!

Every year I look forward to hosting this event as it gives me the chance to connect and listen to our seniors. They have worked hard their entire lives for their benefits, and this event provides them with direct access to the agencies and organizations that deliver those services.

Thank you to all the seniors who attended and shared their thoughts with me. I remain committed to advocating for you and your needs in Washington!
