Friend --
Radical Democrats in the State Capitol are trying to jam through
an insane bill that will let the most heinous murderers out of
prison early, even if they were sentenced to life without
parole!
Under their dangerous policy, murderers like Richard Phillips of
Madera County could be released early. Richard Phillips lured two
Vietnam veterans into a rural area where he shot them multiple times,
stole their wallets, then doused them in gasoline and lit them on
fire. For his gruesome crimes, against veterans nonetheless, he was
sentenced to life without parole, even after a 2019 retrial.
Despite being evil and dangerous, Democrats want to release Richard
Phillips from prison. We don’t need vicious murderers like him in our
neighborhoods.
Last year, thanks to the Californians' help, we stopped this bill.
Now, with only a week of session left, Democrats are bringing it back
when they think we aren’t watching. We can’t let them get away with
this. The State Assembly could pass the radical Senate Bill 94 as soon
as Monday.
Yesterday, I stood in the State Capitol with law enforcement,
victim advocates, and Republican lawmakers to expose the true evils of
the Democrats' dangerous murder-release plan. Watch my remarks here.
In a failed effort to save face, the author of this radical policy
defended his plan after we exposed it. He claims it’s a “conservative”
approach “to a specific subsection” of murderers. There is nothing
conservative about releasing the most violent murderers from
prison.
It’s this type of dangerous mindset in Sacramento that we are
fighting against every day. We are exhausting all resources to expose
what these radical Democrats are doing. Can you help us spread the
word and stop this dangerous murderer-release bill by
chipping in $7?
Help
us keep violent murderers behind bars.
Thank you,
Brian W. Jones
