Dear Friend,

Caregivers and care recipients are facing unprecedented challenges because
our current care system is failing them – and we need your voice to drive
change! As it stands care is costing families, annually:

* more than $50,000 for aging and disability care at home;
* nearly $16,000 for infant child care costs; and
* over $7,000 in out of pocket caregiving costs when caring for family.

And that's not even the full cost, because families lose more than $22
billion a year in wages alone without paid family and medical leave! This
is unreal and yet, families are faced with these very real costs every
day.

Care affects us all, whether we give it, receive it, or will eventually
need it. That’s why we're highlighting the urgent need for affordable,
accessible care and showing how it impacts everyone. Together, we can push
for the legislative changes needed to create a more equitable care system.

Together, we are a powerful voice!

Thank you,

- Taylor, Ruth, Kristin, and the whole MomsRising.org & MamásConPoder Team
