Dear John ,
The sacred grounds of CDF Haley Farm in Clinton, Tennessee, have provided so many memorable moments to its countless visitors since Children’s Defense Fund first acquired it 30 years ago.
We have used it as a space to train activists and advocates. And it has served as a home away from home for faith leaders seeking respite and spiritual renewal. In two months, we will return to those sacred grounds to celebrate former staff, program participants, and volunteers who have helped to develop changemakers and to become them.
