Friend,
Last week, I visited the State Fair for the third time this year. Just outside of the State Fair grounds, Senator Josh Hawley held a rally. I went. It didn't last long. Senator Hawley got off stage when union members visited and demanded he participate in a televised Senate debate, which he's been avoiding.
But I stuck around and got to meet a lot of folks.

I spent the next 2 hours talking to his supporters in the crowd, including the two owners of Trump HQ in Warsaw I wrote about before [[link removed]] .
They told me quite a few Republicans were voting for me because of my last visit.
I spoke to a group of folks who were concerned about a proposed landfill in Pettis County. I told them about my plan to bring back the Conservation Division at the Attorney General’s Office to ensure the safety of our communities. We’re going to set up a town hall. Later, I talked to a friend who was excited about a potential recycling center coming to the area. We need an Attorney General who is willing to be truly involved in our local communities and who will help us all find common ground.
I met a man who works in IT. He had great ideas about protecting our privacy, and I told him I will take on the huge corporations stealing our data. He was also concerned about human trafficking. I told him I would get the anti-human trafficking task force back up and running.
I met Kris, the man in the photo, who was ordering food at the venue. He loved Liberty Belle and couldn’t believe I spent all that time talking to folks in a suit outside in 97 degree weather.
He went on LinkedIn and wrote: “THE most affable candidate in all of Missouri politics.”
We’re not going to agree on everything, including who to vote for. But there’s a lot we do share.
We want safe neighborhoods.
We want our kids to have drinkable water.
We want a government that actually represents us.
Nothing can stop us when we realize how much we agree on.
Some folks didn’t like that I was a Democrat. But most folks, after hearing what I stood for, didn’t mind.
Our government should be more than parties fighting each other. It should be our combined effort that fights FOR US.
As your Attorney General, I will always fight for you.
This is a different campaign. It’s truly focused on you and what you want to see from our government. It’s about building the great future we know we can have here in Missouri.
Join our team. You’ll have a great time!
