Councilmember McDuffie Visits Bertie Backus Testing Site
Councilmember McDuffie walked through the public testing site at UDC-Bertie Backus today. Drive thru and walk up testing by appointment only is being conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am - 2PM. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 1-855-363-0333. ReOpen DC Advisory Group Seeks Feedback by Online Survey and Teletownhall
The ReOpenDC Virtual Town Hall will provide an opportunity for District residents to learn about the work of ReOpenDC and to ask questions of Mayor Bowser and ReOpenDC co-chairs, Ambassador Susan Rice and Secretary Michael Chertoff. The virtual town hall will occur on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. To register, visit coronavirus.dc.gov/reopendc.

Residents who have become familiar with the videoconferencing software Zoom know one quirky feature is the ability to change your background as people see you on video. To make the most of this opportunity, the artists at Ward 5 studio Art Enables are providing original Zoom Backgrounds from their stable of talented outsider artists. Each week they unveil new backgrounds in theme with their weekly digital exhibition, “Wish You Were Here.”
