This Week's Highlights

Monday

Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) called out liberal politicians whose soft-on-crime policies have fueled a rise in violent crime in cities like Portland.

Chavez-DeRemer's Democrat opponent, Janelle Bynum, was reportedly "behind a progressive criminal justice reform bill in the state legislature backed by defund-the-police groups that critics say would have made the community less safe.

Tuesday

Democrats are spending heavily to try to flip Rep. Jen Kiggans (VA-02) seat in November. Kiggans is taking nothing for granted, criss-crossing her district to make sure voters know about all the ways she has delivered for them over the last two years.

Kiggans released a new TV ad focused on her commitment to securing our border, lowering costs, and keeping Virginia communities safe.

Wednesday

Rep. Michelle Steel (CA-45) was recently appointed to The Fentanyl Working Group, which was created by the House Select Committee on Communist China and is tasked with finding solutions to stop the flow of fentanyl into our country.

Steel called out the Biden-Harris administration's disastrous border policies in an op-ed she penned in The Orange County Register.

Thursday

Since she came to Congress, Rep. Young Kim (CA-40) has fought to keep our communities safer by supporting our brave men and women in law enforcement.

Recently, she secured funding to provide body cameras to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department that will promote more "law enforcement transparency, accountability and safety" in her district.
