I first ran for City Council because I believed something simple: that our city deserves proactive leadership focused on solving the problems that matter to you in your neighborhood. That’s why we focused on building a team committed to delivering world class service to our constituents, and having a presence in every corner of our City Council district.
I couldn’t be prouder of the work that our team does every single day, and I’m excited to share that their work was recognized in a recent report card from the Baltimore Sun. Since 2020, our team has proposed 92 ordinances that are now law in Baltimore City, and we’ve resolved more than 5,000 constituent service requests.
Our team has stepped up to the plate to deliver new policies that guarantee that the Baltimore Police Department has staff trained on trauma informed care, we’ve established an Office of Aging and we’ve implemented laws that crack down on illegal dumping.
But we all know that if we want to keep making our city a better place we can’t stop working. We’re building a campaign for City Council President that will be focused on:
· Taking action on issues affecting City Schools
· Taking a trauma-informed approach to public safety
· Reforming the 311 system to resolve complaints faster and more effectively
· Centering community voices and community leadership
But we need your help to do that work. Can you kick in $25 today to help us build a campaign that Baltimore deserves? [link removed]
