If you’re like us, it feels like the month of April was three months long. Hopefully, that means we’re getting closer to coming out of the other side of this crisis—but for our team right now, it also means our April fundraising deadline is upon us.

We’re hoping to have 200 grassroots donors step up and make a contribution before midnight on Thursday. Can you be one of them?

Our candidates have all made big changes to the way they’re running their campaigns. Instead of knocking doors, they’re texting voters and making calls. Instead of holding in-person fundraising events, they’re hosting fundraisers on Zoom. And instead of working in an office together, their teams are working remotely.

Many things have changed about how campaigns operate right now. But one thing hasn’t: winning elections is still about getting the word out to voters.

Our candidates are being creative with how they reach out to voters, but no matter how they do it, it costs money to communicate.
