Hey Folks, 

The Democratic National Convention is almost over. Everyone’s packing their bags tonight, destined for a short flight or long drive home. They are taking with them the speakers that inspired us, the support that delegates showed, and the energy of all the attendees that came to see greatness in the making.

And when they leave, it’ll be important to remember what we accomplished today. Democrats from all over the country came together as one. Our defense of democracy, our dedication to reproductive freedom, our belief in a brighter future; our values have never been stronger. It feels like a dream come true to have such strong unity in our Party. Our unity is not the only thing that has shined through this convention, our candidates have as well. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz have lit a spark in the hearts of every Democrat, and that fire is spreading through the country as we speak. They’ve proven what President Biden did in 2020, that Democratic ideals can stand against Trump and win, no A.I. crowds required. 

 Now that the convention is nearly finished, it’s up to us to keep this flame alight. Democrats have to get out there: helping others register to vote, making calls, canvassing door to door, anything to help us defeat Trump and Project 2025 come this November. The passion is there, the people are there, the fate of our country is there. The time to act is now, and with struggle, hard work, and a little bit of luck, we can put more Democrats in office this year and show the nation that Iowa is still a swing state. That Democrats, when they put their minds to it, can get anything done.

Together, we have the power to transform our state and our country.
