Hey team, it's Pat. I just stepped off the stage at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, where I spoke about the importance of electing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz this November.

The crowd was fired up! And while I couldn't see much (those lights are bright!), I could feel the energy. And man, it was electric.

I couldn't be more excited and ready to deliver the Hudson Valley for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz this November. I hope you are too.

But as Michelle Obama said Tuesday on the same stage, as good as things might feel now, this is still going to be an uphill battle. We're already seeing nasty attacks from Donald Trump and the MAGA right, and it will get worse. Polls will show us neck and neck with our opponents, and there will be moments that make us want to throw in the towel.

Like we saw in Paris this summer, Olympic runners run through the finish line, not to it. We need to stay focused. We cannot ever give up. We need to remember why we’re fighting this fight. And we need everyone to get off the sidelines, get involved, and fight for our democracy. No sleep until November 5th.

The path to a Democratic House majority that will deliver on the Harris-Walz agenda runs right through New York — and a blue New York runs right through the Hudson Valley. And it’s going to be close — FiveThirtyEight’s polling average has me TIED with my MAGA GOP opponent.

MAGA Republicans know it too, and they’re spending tens of millions of dollars to attack my record, stoke division and fear, and drown out our message. We’ve beat them with our people power before, and we can do it again. But we need you on board.
