I just got off the stage at the Democratic National Convention. In just a short while, Kamala Harris will take the stage to formally accept the nomination as our Democratic nominee.

This is a historic moment for our party, and our country, and I will explain the significance of it for our race. But first, I would love it if you would consider chipping in to my campaign to help us keep Michigan blue in November: [link removed]

The energy at the Democratic Convention this week has been palpable. Everyone I talk to is excited and energized about electing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, a midwesterner, this November.

But we cannot get complacent. As I said in my remarks tonight, we have a stark choice in this election. Between an America in retreat from the world, or an America leading the world.

The choice, to me, is clear: I want a President who is rooting for America, instead of tearing her down.

But we know this election will come down to the wire, and the path to holding the White House, maintaining control of the Senate, and securing the future America deserves all run right through Michigan.

And because our race is top of the ticket after the presidential, it will likely impact the presidential and vice versa.

We’re in a unique situation, with a lot of work to do before Election Day to ensure we keep Michigan blue.

So that’s why I ask: will you chip in to my campaign to help us build on-the-ground momentum and keep Michigan blue?
