AML Intern
Sagebrush seedlings at Wyoming Honor Farm greenhouse
Sage Wright recently wrapped up her summer internship with the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality Abandoned Mine Land Division. Ms. Wright is a student at the University of Wyoming and is working towards degrees in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Environmental Science.
During her time at the agency, she created a StoryMap that showcases the work done by the AML Division along with other partners on the Native Plants Project.
The Project works to restore the sagebrush ecosystem through reclamation work on abandoned mine sites.
The DEQ and the AML Division would like to thank Sage for her hard work and contributions during her time her at the agency.
